The Baumer OG050U.R-GW1O.7WL is a through beam sensor designed for precise object detection with a minimum size capability of 0.5 mm and repeat accuracy of 0.04 mm. It features a fast response and release time of less than 0.1 ms and a hysteresis of less than 0.25 mm. The sensor is equipped with a potentiometer for sensitivity adjustment over a 270° range and supports IO-Link communication. It utilizes a pulsed red LED light source with a wavelength of 660 nm and includes a yellow LED light indicator. The switching frequency can be set to 5000 Hz, with options for 1500 Hz, 250 Hz, and 8000 Hz. It operates on a voltage supply range of 10 to 30 VDC and consumes a maximum of 30 mA with no load. The output function is switchable between light and dark operate modes, and it features a push-pull / IO-Link output circuit with a voltage drop of less than 2.8 VDC and an output current of 200 mA. The sensor includes short circuit and reverse polarity protection. Its U-profile design is made from die-cast zinc, measuring 70 mm in width, 50 mm in fork width, 80 mm in height/length, 55 mm in penetration depth, and 10 mm in depth.
