Description

The Baumer OHDM 16N5651 10159135 is a background suppression sensor designed for wafer mapping with a sensing distance of 123 to 143 mm and repeat accuracy of less than 0.1 mm at laser focus. It features a pulsed red laser diode light source, laser class 2, and a wavelength of 650 nm. The sensor has a fast response and release time of less than 5 ms, operates on a voltage supply range of 10 to 30 VDC, and consumes a maximum of 35 mA with a typical consumption of 25 mA. It includes both light and dark operating modes, an NPN output circuit, and can handle an output current of up to 200 mA. The sensor is equipped with short circuit and reverse polarity protection, and has no sensing distance adjustment. It is housed in a rectangular, die-cast zinc body measuring 15.4 mm in width, 50 mm in height and depth, with a glass front optics. The connection is facilitated via a 5-pin, 2-meter cable. It is rated IP 67 for protection against dust and water ingress and can operate in temperatures ranging from -5 to +50 °C.
