Description
The Baumer OM30.GM-PLZZB.7WN is a high-precision sensor with background suppression and a sensing distance of 50 to 550 mm. It features a pulsed red laser diode light source, operating within a laser class 2 and a wavelength of 660 nm. The sensor offers excellent repeat accuracy ranging from 12 to 686 µm and quick response times of less than 6.7 ms. It is equipped with both green and red LEDs for power and output indication, respectively. The device supports a voltage supply range of 12 to 28 VDC and has a maximum current consumption of 50 mA with no load. It includes safety features such as short circuit and reverse polarity protection. The sensor's robust design includes a die-cast zinc housing, glass optics, and an IP67 protection class, making it suitable for harsh environments.
