Description
The Baumer OM30.GM-PLZZB.7WN/E022 is a high-performance sensor equipped with background suppression technology and a sensing distance of 50 to 550 mm. It features a pulsed red laser diode light source, operating within a laser class 2 safety standard and a wavelength of 660 nm. The sensor offers precise repeat accuracy ranging from 12 to 686 µm and includes both green and red LEDs for power and output indication, respectively. It has a fast response and release time of less than 6.7 ms, and operates with a voltage supply range of 12 to 28 VDC. The sensor supports both light and dark operating modes through a PNP output circuit and can handle an output current of up to 100 mA. It includes safety features such as short circuit and reverse polarity protection. The robust die-cast zinc housing, with a glass front, measures 13.6 mm in width, 49 mm in height, and 40.3 mm in depth, and is designed to withstand harsh environments with an IP 67 protection class. The sensor is also equipped to handle significant ambient light immunity, extreme temperatures, vibrations, and shocks as per IEC standards. It connects via an M8 4-pin connector and weighs 67 g.
