Description

The Baumer OT500.GL-PLPLB.72F is a high-performance sensor with background suppression and Time of Flight technology, offering a sensing distance of 150 to 2500 mm and a sensing range of 100 to 2625 mm. It features high repeat accuracy (? 1200 to 4300 µm) and minimal temperature drift (± 15 mm). The device includes a pulsed red laser diode light source with a wavelength of 680 nm and is classified as a safe Laser class 1. It has a fast response and release time of less than 8 ms, operates on a 12 to 30 VDC voltage supply, and consumes a maximum of 60 mA with no load. The sensor is equipped with PNP output circuitry, supporting light operate mode which is switchable, and includes short circuit and reverse polarity protection. Its compact, rectangular plastic housing measures 18 mm in width, 45 mm in length, and 32 mm in depth, and is designed to withstand harsh environments with an IP 67 protection rating.
