Description

The Baumer UNAR 18I6912/S14G 10162125 is a chemically robust ultrasonic sensor designed for precise distance measurement within a scanning range of 60 to 400 mm. It features high repeat accuracy of 0.5 mm and a resolution of less than 0.3 mm. The sensor operates with a response and release time of less than 60 ms and has minimal temperature drift of less than 2% Sde. It emits at a sonic frequency of 400 kHz and can be easily configured via Teach-in with additional alignment aid through target indication flashing. The sensor is equipped with dual LED indicators for operational status. This model is built to withstand harsh environments, with a stainless steel housing, Parylene coating on the active face, and FFKM O-rings, ensuring durability against pressures up to 6 bar and 20,000 cycles. It supports a voltage supply range of 15 to 30 VDC, a maximum current consumption of 55 mA, and offers both current output signals (4 to 20 mA / 20 to 4 mA).
