Description
The Baumer UNDK 30U6104/S14 is an ultrasonic sensor with a scanning range of 200 to 2000 mm, featuring high repeat accuracy of 1 mm and resolution under 0.5 mm. It operates with a response and release time of less than 150 ms each. The sensor is designed to minimize temperature drift, which is less than 2% of the distance to the target over 50 mm. It operates at a sonic frequency of 200 kHz and includes a teach-in adjustment for easy setup. Visual alignment is aided by target indication flashing, and status is easily monitored via yellow and red LED indicators. The sensor is powered by a 15 to 30 VDC supply, consumes a maximum of 35 mA with no load, and offers a voltage output signal of 0 to 10 V or 10 to 0 V. It supports an output current of 20 mA and includes safety features such as short circuit and reverse polarity protection. The rectangular housing is made from polyester and die-cast zinc, measuring 30 mm in width, 65 mm in height, and 31 mm in depth. It connects via an M12 connector and operates within a temperature range of -10 to +60 °C. The sensor is highly durable, boasting an IP 67 protection class.
