The Baumer VS XF900M03I12IP is a high-performance vision sensor featuring a 1/3? CMOS monochrome sensor with a resolution of 752 × 480 px. It includes integrated LED infrared illumination (860 nm) and operates safely within the free group LED class as per EN 62471:2008 standards. This device offers two operational modes: a high-resolution mode with up to 50 inspections per second and a high-speed mode with limited resolution at up to 100 inspections per second. It can handle object distances ranging from 50 mm to 450 mm and supports up to 255 jobs with 32 features per job. The sensor is equipped with Baumer FEX® 4.0 signal processing, a 12 mm lens, and has a defect image memory capacity for 32 images. It requires a 24 V ±25% nominal voltage power supply and consumes a maximum of 18 W with I/O. The sensor includes multiple digital inputs and outputs for enhanced connectivity and control, and it offers initial setup via Ethernet. Its process interface options include PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, and TCP/UDP. The device is housed in aluminum with a PMMA cover glass featuring an integrated daylight filter (780 nm), measuring 53 mm in width, 99.5 mm in height, and 38 mm in depth, and weighs less than 250 g. Visualization is managed through a configurable web interface with a MultiViewer function.
