Innerspec Technologies Demos Factory-Installed Inspection System with Universal Robots Arm
As a global leader in Electro Magnetic Acoustic Transducers (EMAT) ultrasonic inspection, Innerspec Technologies has built the largest selection of products, accessories and successful inspection applications available. They are known for their high-performance non-destructive testing and inspection solutions that are proven to increase inspection speeds, improve manufacturing processes, and reduce costs. With both portable and factory-installed solutions available, Innerspec is using a Universal Robots arm to demonstrate their technology at industry tradeshows around the country.
Equipped with an EMAT sensor, the collaborative robot scans an aluminum pipe to measure wall thickness and detect surface irregularities. The inspection demo will show changing wall thickness inside the pipe as well as guided wave inspection for surface cracks.
Headquartered in Forest, Virginia, Innerspec has an elite team of researchers, development engineers, and support specialists. With offices in Europe and China, Innerspec offers advanced non-destructive testing solutions globally.
