Datasensing AC1/AP-3A8F Sensors

The Datasensing AC1/AP-3A8F Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability. With a nominal sensing distance of 1.5mm and an operating range of 0 to 1.21mm, these sensors are ideal for detecting standard targets of 4.5x4.5mm FE360. They feature a correction factor for various materials, including copper (0.29 ± 10%), aluminium (0.23 ± 10%), brass (0.31 ± 10%), and stainless steel (0.66 ± 10%). The sensors exhibit minimal thermal drift of Sr (< 10%) and repeat accuracy of less than 5% at UB 24V Ta=23°C ±5°C. Designed for proximity functions, the AC1/AP-3A8F sensors have a PNP output type with a normally open (NO) output function. They support a switching frequency of 5kHz and operate within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc. The sensors have a no-load supply current of ? 10mA, a load current of ? 100mA, and a leakage current of ? 10?A. The output voltage drop is ? 1.5V at 100mA, with a maximum ripple content of ? 10%. Equipped with a yellow LED indicator for output state, these sensors ensure quick availability with a time delay of ? 50ms. They offer robust protection features, including short-circuit protection, reverse polarity protection, impulsive overvoltage protection, and protection against inductive loads. The sensors are shielded for mounting and constructed with durable AISI303 stainless steel housing and an active head made of PBT. The AC1/AP-3A8F sensors are CE cULus approved and comply with EMC compatibility standards IEC 60947-5-2. They are designed to withstand shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards. With a mechanical protection rating of IP67, these sensors are suitable for operating temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C. The sensors come with a 2m PUR cable connection and have dimensions of Ø4 / L = 30.2mm.
