Datasensing AC1/CN-3A Sensors

The Datasensing AC1/CN-3A Sensors are designed for precision and reliability in various industrial applications. Featuring a smooth stainless steel housing with a compact Ø4 mm diameter, these sensors are equipped with a yellow output LED that is 360° visible for easy status monitoring. They come with a 2 m PVC cable or an M8 connector model, offering flexibility in installation. With an IP67 protection degree, these sensors are built to withstand harsh environments. The AC1/CN-3A Sensors have a nominal sensing distance of 1.5mm and an operating distance range of 0 to 1.21mm, making them ideal for detecting standard targets of 4.5x4.5mm FE360. They exhibit a correction factor for various materials, including copper (0.29 ± 10%), aluminium (0.23 ± 10%), brass (0.31 ± 10%), and stainless steel (0.66 ± 10%). The sensors maintain a thermal drift of Sr under 10% and a repeat accuracy of less than 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. Designed for proximity functions, these sensors feature an NPN output type with an NC output function and a switching frequency of 5kHz. They operate within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 100mA. The output voltage drop is ? 1.5V at 100mA, ensuring efficient performance. Additional features include short-circuit protection, reverse polarity protection, and impulsive overvoltage protection, along with protection against inductive loads. The sensors are shielded for mounting, with dimensions of Ø4 / L = 30.2mm and a weight of 30g. Constructed from AISI303 stainless steel with a PBT active head material, they are approved by CE cULus and comply with EMC compatibility standards IEC 60947-5-2. They are also tested for shocks and vibrations according to IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards, ensuring durability and reliability in demanding conditions. With an operating temperature range of -25°C to +70°C, these sensors are versatile and robust for various industrial needs.
