The Datasensing AC1/CP-1A Sensors are designed with a smooth stainless steel housing and a compact Ø4 mm diameter, making them ideal for precise applications. Featuring a yellow output LED that is visible from 360°, these sensors are available with either a 2 m PVC cable or M8 connector models, ensuring flexibility in installation. With an IP67 protection degree, they are built to withstand harsh environments. These sensors offer a nominal sensing distance of 0.8mm and an operating distance of 0 to 0.65mm, suitable for standard targets of 4x4mm FE360. They exhibit a correction factor for various materials, including copper (0.28 ± 10%), aluminium (0.21 ± 10%), brass (0.32 ± 10%), and stainless steel (0.63 ± 10%). The thermal drift of Sr is less than 10%, and they maintain a repeat accuracy of less than 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. The hysteresis ranges from 1 to 20%. Functioning as proximity sensors, they feature a PNP output type with an NC output function and a switching frequency of 5kHz. Operating within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, they have a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 100mA. The sensors ensure minimal leakage current (? 10?A) and a low output voltage drop (? 1.5V @100mA), with a maximum ripple content of ? 10%. Additional features include a time delay before availability of ? 50ms, short-circuit protection, reverse polarity protection, impulsive overvoltage protection, and protection against inductive loads. Constructed from AISI303 stainless steel with a PBT active head material, they operate effectively in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C. They are CE cULus approved and comply with EMC compatibility standards IEC 60947-5-2, as well as vibration and shock standards IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27.
