The Datasensing AC6/AP-1A8FVF80 Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability. With a nominal sensing distance of 0.8mm and an operating range of 0 to 0.65mm, these sensors are ideal for detecting standard targets of 4x4mm FE360. They feature a correction factor for various materials, including copper (0.28 ± 10%), aluminium (0.21 ± 10%), brass (0.32 ± 10%), and stainless steel (0.63 ± 10%). The sensors exhibit minimal thermal drift of Sr (< 10%) and repeat accuracy of less than 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. Designed for proximity functions, the sensors have a PNP output type with a normally open (NO) output function and a switching frequency of 5kHz. They operate within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 100mA. The output voltage drop is ? 1.5V at 100mA, and they feature a maximum ripple content of ? 10%. The sensors are equipped with a yellow LED indicator for output state and have a time delay before availability of ? 50ms. They offer robust protection features, including short-circuit protection, reverse polarity protection, impulsive overvoltage protection, and protection against inductive loads. Constructed with a shielded mounting design, the housing is made from durable AISI303 stainless steel, while the active head is crafted from PBT material. The sensors come with a 200mm PUR cable and an M8 plug for easy connectivity. They are CE and cULus approved, ensuring compliance with EMC compatibility standards (IEC 60947-5-2) and resistance to shocks and vibrations (Vibration IEC 60068-2-6 / Shock IEC 60068-2-27). With dimensions of Ø4 / L = 24.9mm, these sensors are compact yet robust, offering mechanical protection rated at IP67. They are suitable for operating temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C, making them versatile for various industrial applications.
