The Datasensing AD1/AP-3A86 Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability. Featuring an M5 standard flush mount, these sensors offer a nominal sensing distance of 1.5mm and an operating distance range of 0 to 1.21mm. They are optimized for detecting standard targets of 5x5mm FE360, with correction factors for various materials such as copper, aluminum, brass, and stainless steel. The sensors exhibit minimal thermal drift and high repeat accuracy, ensuring consistent performance. Equipped with a PNP output type and NO output function, these sensors operate at a switching frequency of 5kHz and support an operating voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc. They are designed with a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 100mA, with a leakage current of ? 10?A. The output voltage drop is maintained at ? 1.5V @100mA, and the sensors can handle a maximum ripple content of ? 10%. For user convenience, the sensors feature a yellow LED indicator for output state and have a time delay before availability of ? 50ms. They are equipped with short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive load protection, ensuring durability and safety in various applications. The sensors are housed in AISI303 stainless steel with a PBT active head material, providing robust mechanical protection rated at IP67. The sensors come with a 5m PVC cable for easy connectivity and are supplied with two M5x0.5 nuts for secure installation. They are CE cULus approved and comply with EMC compatibility standards IEC 60947-5-2. Designed to withstand shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27, these sensors operate efficiently in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C.
