The Datasensing AE1/AP-1FE5 Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability. Featuring a completely threaded M8 shielded design, these sensors offer a nominal sensing distance of 1.5mm and an operating range of 0 to 1.21mm. Ideal for detecting standard targets of 8x8mm FE360, they provide excellent correction factors for various materials, including copper (0.29), aluminium (0.38), brass (0.49), and stainless steel (0.78). With a thermal drift of Sr under 10% and repeat accuracy below 5% at 24V and 23°C, these sensors ensure consistent performance. The AE1/AP-1FE5 sensors are equipped with a PNP output type and NO output function, supporting a switching frequency of up to 5kHz. They operate within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 200mA. The sensors feature a low output voltage drop of ? 1.8V at 200mA and a maximum ripple content of ? 10%. A yellow LED indicator provides a clear output state, and the sensors are ready for use with a time delay of ? 50ms. Built with durability in mind, these sensors include short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive load protection. The housing is made from nickel-plated brass, with an active head material of PBT, ensuring robust performance in challenging environments. The sensors are designed for shielded mounting and come with an M8 plug connection. They are CE and UR approved, with EMC compatibility per IEC 60947-5-2 standards, and can withstand shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards. Supplied with two M8x1 nuts, these sensors have a mechanical protection rating of IP67 and operate efficiently in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C.
