Datasensing AE1/AP-1H Sensors

The Datasensing AE1/AP-1H Sensors are designed for precision and reliability in industrial applications. Featuring an extremely reduced measure, these sensors come with a robust metal housing and a 360° visible LED status indicator for easy monitoring. With IP67 housing protection, they are built to withstand harsh environments, and ATEX models are available upon request for specialized needs. The sensors offer complete protection against electrical damages and are available in both standard and long-distance models, as well as standard and short body housing options. Key specifications include a nominal sensing distance of 1.5mm and an operating distance of 0 to 1.21mm, with a standard target size of 8x8mm FE360. The sensors have a correction factor for various materials, including copper (0.29), aluminium (0.38), brass (0.49), and stainless steel (0.78). They exhibit a thermal drift of Sr of less than 10% and a repeat accuracy of less than 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. The hysteresis ranges from 1 to 20%. Designed for proximity functions, the sensors feature a PNP output type with a normally open (NO) output function and a switching frequency of 5kHz. They operate on a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 200mA. The sensors have a leakage current of ? 10?A and an output voltage drop of ? 1.8V at 200mA, with a maximum ripple content of ? 10%. The yellow LED output state indicator provides clear status visibility. Additional features include short-circuit protection, reverse polarity protection, impulsive overvoltage protection, and protection against inductive loads. The sensors are shielded for mounting and have dimensions of M8 x 1 with a length of 60mm. Weighing 20g, they are constructed from nickel-plated brass with an active head made of PBT. The sensors can withstand a tightening torque of 3Nm and operate within a temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. They are CE UR approved and comply with EMC compatibility standards IEC 60947-5-2, as well as vibration and shock standards IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27. The sensors come with supplied accessories, including two M8x1 nuts, and offer mechanical protection rated at IP67.
