Datasensing AE1/AP-2A84 Sensors

The Datasensing AE1/AP-2A84 Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability. Featuring an M8 unshielded design, these sensors operate with a NO/PNP output type and come equipped with a 3-meter axial cable for flexible installation. With a nominal sensing distance of 2.5mm and an operating range of 0 to 2.02mm, they are ideal for detecting standard targets of 8x8mm FE360. The sensors offer excellent correction factors for various materials, including copper (0.43), aluminium (0.51), brass (0.59), and stainless steel (0.83). Engineered for stability, they exhibit a thermal drift of Sr of less than 10% and a repeat accuracy of less than 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. The hysteresis ranges from 1 to 20%, ensuring consistent performance. With a switching frequency of 5kHz and an operating voltage between 10 to 30Vdc, these sensors are versatile for various applications. They feature a no-load supply current of ? 10mA, a load current of ? 200mA, and a leakage current of ? 10?A, with an output voltage drop of ? 1.8V at 200mA. The sensors are equipped with a yellow LED indicator for output state and have a time delay before availability of ? 50ms. They are protected against short-circuits, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive loads. Constructed with a nickel-plated brass housing and PBT active head material, they are robust and durable. The sensors are IP67 rated for mechanical protection and can withstand operating temperatures from -25°C to +70°C. They are supplied with two M8x1 nuts for secure mounting and are compliant with CE and UR approvals, ensuring high standards of safety and performance.
