Datasensing AE1/AP-4F Sensors

The Datasensing AE1/AP-4F Sensors are designed for precision and reliability in industrial applications. These inductive sensors feature an extremely compact design with a robust metal housing, ensuring durability and longevity. The 360° visible LED status indicator provides clear visibility of the sensor's operational state, while the IP67 housing protection guarantees resistance against dust and water ingress. For environments requiring additional safety measures, ATEX models, category 3, are available upon request. These sensors offer complete protection against electrical damages, including short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection. They are available in both standard and long-distance models, with options for standard and short body housing to suit various installation needs. The nominal sensing distance is 4mm, with an operating range of 0 to 3.24mm, making them ideal for detecting standard targets of 12x12mm FE360. The AE1/AP-4F Sensors are equipped with a PNP output type and a normally open (NO) output function, supporting a switching frequency of up to 5kHz. They operate within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 200mA. The sensors are designed to minimize thermal drift and maintain repeat accuracy, ensuring consistent performance. Constructed from nickel-plated brass with an active head made of PBT, these sensors are built to withstand harsh conditions, with an operating temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. They are EMC compatible and meet IEC 60947-5-2 standards, with additional approvals from CE and UR. The sensors come with supplied accessories, including two M8x1 nuts, and are designed for unshielded mounting with a tightening torque of 3Nm.
