The Datasensing AE1/CP-1A8R Sensor is a high-performance inductive sensor designed for precision and reliability. Featuring an M8 shielded design, this sensor operates with a nominal sensing distance of 1.5mm and an operating range of 0 to 1.21mm. It is equipped with a 10m axial PVC cable for flexible installation. The sensor is optimized for standard targets of 8x8mm FE360, with correction factors for various materials such as copper (0.29), aluminium (0.38), brass (0.49), and stainless steel (0.78).
Engineered for stability, it boasts a thermal drift of Sr of less than 10% and a repeat accuracy of less than 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. The sensor's hysteresis ranges from 1 to 20%, ensuring consistent performance. It functions as a proximity sensor with a PNP output type and NC output function, supporting a switching frequency of up to 5kHz.
The AE1/CP-1A8R operates within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 200mA. It features a low output voltage drop of ? 1.8V at 200mA and a maximum ripple content of ? 10%. The sensor includes a yellow LED indicator for output state visibility and is equipped with short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive load protections.
Constructed with a nickel-plated brass housing and an active head made of PBT, the sensor is designed for durability and reliability. It is IP67 rated for mechanical protection and can withstand operating temperatures from -25°C to +70°C. The sensor is CE and UR approved, with EMC compatibility per IEC 60947-5-2 standards, and is resistant to shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards. Supplied with two M8x1 nuts, the sensor is easy to mount and secure with a tightening torque of 3Nm.
