Datasensing AE1/CP-3A Sensors

The Datasensing AE1/CP-3A Sensors are designed for precision and reliability in industrial applications. Featuring an extremely reduced measure, these sensors come with a robust metal housing and a 360° visible LED status indicator for easy monitoring. With an IP67 housing protection, they are built to withstand harsh environments, and ATEX models are available upon request for specialized needs. These sensors offer complete protection against electrical damages and are available in both standard and long-distance models, as well as standard and short body housing options. The AE1/CP-3A Sensors have a nominal sensing distance of 2mm and an operating distance of 0 to 1.62mm, with a standard target size of 8x8mm FE360. They feature a correction factor for various materials, including copper (0.35), aluminium (0.43), brass (0.52), and stainless steel (0.78). The sensors maintain a thermal drift of Sr under 10% and a repeat accuracy of less than 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. With a hysteresis range of 1 to 20%, these sensors are ideal for proximity functions. The output type is PNP with an NC output function, and they support a switching frequency of 5kHz. Operating within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, they have a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 200mA. The sensors are equipped with short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection, as well as protection against inductive loads. They are shielded for mounting and come with a 2m PVC cable connection. Constructed from nickel-plated brass with an active head made of PBT, the sensors have a tightening torque of 3Nm and operate within a temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. They are CE and UR approved, EMC compatible with IEC 60947-5-2 standards, and resistant to shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27. The sensors come with two M8x1 nuts for easy installation.
