The Datasensing AE6/AN-1A85 Inductive Sensor is designed for precision and reliability in industrial applications. Featuring a compact M8 short shielded design, this sensor operates with a nominal sensing distance of 1.5mm and an operating range of 0 to 1.21mm. It is optimized for detecting standard targets of 8x8mm FE360, with correction factors for various materials such as copper (0.29), aluminium (0.38), brass (0.49), and stainless steel (0.78). The sensor ensures high accuracy with a repeat accuracy of less than 5% and a thermal drift of Sr under 10%. Equipped with a NPN output type and NO output function, it supports a switching frequency of up to 5kHz. The sensor operates within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 200mA. It features a low output voltage drop of ? 1.8V at 200mA and a maximum ripple content of ? 10%. The yellow LED indicator provides a clear output state, and the sensor is ready for use with a time delay of ? 50ms. Built for durability, the sensor includes short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection, as well as protection against inductive loads. Its shielded mounting and nickel-plated brass housing ensure robust performance, while the 4m PVC cable connection offers flexibility in installation. The active head is made of PBT, and the sensor can withstand tightening torques of up to 3Nm. With a mechanical protection rating of IP67, it is suitable for harsh environments, operating in temperatures from -25°C to +70°C. The sensor is CE and UR approved, with EMC compatibility per IEC 60947-5-2 standards, and is resistant to shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27. Supplied with two M8x1 nuts, the sensor measures M8 x 1 with a length of 35.5mm, making it a versatile choice for various proximity sensing applications.
