The Datasensing AE6/AN-2A Sensors are designed for precision and reliability in industrial applications. Featuring an M8 short unshielded design, these inductive sensors offer a nominal sensing distance of 2.5mm and an operating distance of 0 to 2.02mm. Constructed with a robust nickel-plated brass housing, they ensure durability and resistance to harsh environments, with an IP67 protection rating. The sensors are equipped with a 360° visible LED status indicator for easy monitoring and are capable of operating within a temperature range of -25°C to +70°C.
With a switching frequency of 5kHz and an NPN output type, these sensors provide a NO output function, making them suitable for various proximity detection tasks. They are engineered with complete protection against electrical damages, including short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection. The sensors are compatible with standard and long-distance models and come with a 2m PVC cable for flexible installation.
Additional features include a thermal drift of Sr less than 10%, repeat accuracy of less than 5%, and a hysteresis range of 1 to 20%. The sensors are also equipped with a yellow LED output state indicator and have a time delay before availability of less than 50ms. They are supplied with two M8x1 nuts for secure mounting and are compliant with CE and UR approvals, ensuring high standards of safety and performance.
