Datasensing AE6/AN-3A Sensors

The Datasensing AE6/AN-3A Sensors are designed for precision and reliability in industrial applications. Featuring an extremely reduced measure, these sensors come with a robust metal housing and a 360° visible LED status indicator for easy monitoring. With an IP67 housing protection, they are built to withstand harsh environments, and ATEX models are available upon request for specialized needs. These sensors offer complete protection against electrical damages and are available in both standard and long-distance models, as well as standard and short body housing options. The AE6/AN-3A Sensors have a nominal sensing distance of 2mm and an operating distance of 0 to 1.62mm, with a standard target size of 8x8mm FE360. They feature a correction factor for various materials, including copper (0.35), aluminium (0.43), brass (0.52), and stainless steel (0.78). The sensors maintain a thermal drift of Sr under 10% and a repeat accuracy of less than 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. With a hysteresis range of 1 to 20%, these sensors are designed for proximity functions with an NPN output type and NO output function. Operating at a switching frequency of 5kHz, the sensors require an operating voltage of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 200mA. They feature a leakage current of ? 10?A and an output voltage drop of ? 1.8V at 200mA, with a maximum ripple content of ? 10%. The yellow LED output state indicator ensures clear visibility of the sensor's status. The AE6/AN-3A Sensors are equipped with short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive load protection. They are shielded for mounting and have dimensions of M8 x 1 with a length of 35.5mm, weighing 45g. The housing is made of nickel-plated brass, with a PBT active head material and a tightening torque of 3Nm. These sensors operate within a temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and are CE UR approved, with EMC compatibility according to IEC 60947-5-2 standards. They are also tested for shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards, ensuring durability and reliability in demanding conditions. Supplied with two M8x1 nuts, these sensors are ready for immediate installation and use.
