Datasensing AE6/AP-2FAN Sensors

The Datasensing AE6/AP-2FAN Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precise proximity detection. Featuring an M8 unshielded short case, these sensors operate with a nominal sensing distance of 2.5mm and an operating range of 0 to 2.02mm. They are optimized for standard targets of 8x8mm FE360, with correction factors for various materials such as copper (0.43), aluminium (0.51), brass (0.59), and stainless steel (0.83). The sensors exhibit minimal thermal drift of less than 10% and repeat accuracy of under 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. With a switching frequency of 5kHz and an operating voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, these sensors ensure reliable performance. They feature a PNP output type with a normally open (NO) output function, and are equipped with a yellow LED indicator for output state. The sensors are protected against short-circuits, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive loads, ensuring durability and safety in various environments. Constructed with a nickel-plated brass housing and PBT active head material, the sensors are robust and resistant to harsh conditions, with an IP67 mechanical protection rating. They are compatible with IEC 60947-5-2 EMC standards and can withstand shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27. The sensors come with an M8 plug connection and include two M8x1 nuts for easy installation. Suitable for operating temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C, these sensors are ideal for industrial applications requiring reliable and accurate proximity sensing.
