The Datasensing AE6/CN-2A Sensors are designed for precision and reliability in industrial applications. Featuring an M8 short unshielded design, these inductive sensors offer a nominal sensing distance of 2.5mm and an operating distance of 0 to 2.02mm, making them ideal for proximity detection tasks. The sensors are equipped with a robust metal housing and a 360° visible LED status indicator, ensuring easy monitoring and durability. With IP67 housing protection, they are resistant to dust and water, suitable for harsh environments.
These sensors are engineered with complete protection against electrical damages, including short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection. They operate on a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 200mA. The output type is NPN with an NC output function, and they support a switching frequency of up to 5kHz.
The AE6/CN-2A Sensors are constructed with nickel-plated brass housing and a PBT active head material, ensuring longevity and resistance to wear. They come with a 2m PVC cable for easy installation and connectivity. The sensors are compliant with CE and UR approvals and meet EMC compatibility standards IEC 60947-5-2. Additionally, they are designed to withstand shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards.
For added convenience, the sensors include two M8x1 nuts for secure mounting. With a compact size of M8 x 1 / L = 35.5mm and a weight of 45g, they are easy to integrate into various systems. The operating temperature range of -25°C to +70°C ensures reliable performance in diverse conditions. Optional ATEX models, category 3, are available upon request for environments requiring explosion protection.
