The Datasensing AE6/CN-3A86 Inductive Sensor is designed for precision and reliability in industrial applications. Featuring a compact M8 short case with flush mount capabilities, this sensor is shielded for enhanced performance. It operates with an NPN output type and a normally closed (NC) output function, ensuring dependable proximity detection. The sensor boasts a nominal sensing distance of 2mm and an operating distance of 0 to 1.62mm, making it ideal for close-range applications. Constructed with a durable nickel-plated brass housing and a PBT active head, it offers robust protection against environmental factors, including an IP67 mechanical protection rating. The sensor is equipped with a 5-meter PVC cable for flexible installation and includes two M8x1 nuts for secure mounting. With a switching frequency of 5kHz and an operating voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, it supports a load current of up to 200mA. The sensor is designed with multiple protective features, including short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection, ensuring long-lasting performance.
