The Datasensing AE6/CP-2A Sensors are designed for precision and reliability in industrial applications. Featuring an M8 short unshielded design, these inductive sensors offer a nominal sensing distance of 2.5mm and an operating distance of 0 to 2.02mm. The robust metal housing ensures durability, while the 360° visible LED status indicator provides clear operational feedback. With IP67 housing protection, these sensors are suitable for harsh environments, and ATEX models are available upon request for specialized needs.
Engineered for complete protection against electrical damages, the AE6/CP-2A sensors include short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection. They operate efficiently within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 200mA. The sensors are equipped with a PNP output type and NC output function, supporting a switching frequency of 5kHz.
Constructed from nickel-plated brass with a PBT active head material, these sensors are built to withstand operating temperatures from -25°C to +70°C. The M8 x 1 dimensions and 35.5mm length make them compact yet powerful, with a tightening torque of 3Nm. The sensors come with a 2m PVC cable for easy installation and are supplied with two M8x1 nuts for secure mounting.
Compliant with CE and UR approvals, the AE6/CP-2A sensors meet EMC compatibility standards (IEC 60947-5-2) and are tested for shocks and vibrations (Vibration IEC 60068-2-6 / Shock IEC 60068-2-27).
