The Datasensing AE6/CP-4A Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability in various industrial applications. Featuring a compact M8 short body housing, these sensors offer a nominal sensing distance of 4mm and an operating distance of 0 to 3.24mm, making them ideal for close-range detection tasks. The sensors are equipped with a 2m axial PVC cable for easy installation and connectivity.
Constructed with a robust nickel-plated brass housing, the AE6/CP-4A Sensors ensure durability and longevity, even in harsh environments. The IP67-rated housing provides excellent protection against dust and water ingress, while the LED status indicator offers 360° visibility for easy monitoring of the sensor's operational state. Additionally, the sensors are available in ATEX models, category 3, upon request, catering to specific hazardous area requirements.
The AE6/CP-4A Sensors are engineered with advanced features such as complete protection against electrical damages, including short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection. They support a wide operating voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc and can handle a load current of up to 200mA. The sensors also boast a high switching frequency of 5kHz, ensuring rapid response times in dynamic applications.
With a thermal drift of Sr less than 10% and repeat accuracy under 5%, these sensors deliver consistent performance across varying temperatures, from -25°C to +70°C. The sensors are designed for unshielded mounting and come with two M8x1 nuts for secure installation. Their compatibility with standard targets and correction factors for different materials, such as copper, aluminum, brass, and stainless steel, further enhances their versatility.
Ideal for proximity detection, the AE6/CP-4A Sensors feature a PNP output type with a normally closed (NC) output function.
