Datasensing AH1/AP-3A Sensors

The Datasensing AH1/AP-3A Sensors are designed with extremely reduced dimensions, making them ideal for applications where space is limited. Encased in a robust stainless steel housing, these sensors offer a high degree of durability and reliability. The 360° visible LED status indicator ensures easy monitoring of the sensor's operational state. With an IP67 protection rating, these sensors are resistant to dust and water, making them suitable for harsh environments. ATEX models for category 3 are available upon request, providing additional safety in explosive atmospheres. These sensors feature a nominal sensing distance of 2mm and an operating distance range of 0 to 1.62mm, with a standard target size of 8x8mm FE360. The correction factors for different materials are copper: 0.10, aluminium: 0.17, brass: 0.25, and stainless steel: 0.60. The thermal drift of Sr is less than 10%, and the repeat accuracy is under 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. The hysteresis ranges from 1 to 20%. The AH1/AP-3A Sensors function as proximity sensors with a PNP output type and a normally open (NO) output function. They support a switching frequency of 5kHz and operate within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc. The sensors have a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and can handle a load current of up to 200mA, with a leakage current of ? 10?A. The output voltage drop is ? 1.8V at 200mA, and the maximum ripple content is ? 10%. These sensors are equipped with short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive load protection, ensuring reliable performance in various conditions. They are designed for shielded mounting and come with a 2m PVC cable for easy installation. The active head is made of PBT, and the sensors can operate in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C. With CE and UR approvals and EMC compatibility with IEC 60947-5-2, these sensors meet high standards of quality and safety. They are also tested for vibration and shock resistance according to IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards.
