The Datasensing AH1/CN-3A Sensors are designed for precision and reliability in demanding environments. With an extremely compact design, these inductive sensors feature a metal housing made from durable AISI303 stainless steel, ensuring longevity and resistance to harsh conditions. The sensor's LED status indicator is visible from 360°, providing clear operational feedback. Rated with an IP67 protection degree, these sensors are safeguarded against dust and water ingress, making them suitable for a variety of industrial applications. The AH1/CN-3A model offers a nominal sensing distance of 2mm and operates effectively within a range of 0 to 1.62mm. It is optimized for standard targets of 8x8mm FE360, with correction factors for different materials such as copper, aluminum, brass, and stainless steel. The sensor maintains high accuracy with a thermal drift of less than 10% and repeat accuracy under 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. Its hysteresis ranges from 1 to 20%, ensuring consistent performance. This proximity sensor operates with an NPN output type and a normally closed (NC) output function, supporting a switching frequency of up to 5kHz. It functions within an operating voltage of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 200mA. The sensor is equipped with short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection, as well as protection against inductive loads. The AH1/CN-3A is designed for shielded mounting and comes with a 2m PVC cable for easy installation. It operates efficiently in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C, making it versatile for various industrial settings. The sensor is CE and UR approved, with EMC compatibility according to IEC 60947-5-2 standards, and is tested for shocks and vibrations per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards.
