Datasensing AH6/AN-4A Sensors

The Datasensing AH6/AN-4A Sensors are designed with extremely reduced dimensions, featuring a robust metal housing made from AISI303 stainless steel. These sensors are equipped with a 360° visible LED status indicator and offer IP67 protection, ensuring durability in various environments. They are available in both standard and long-distance models, with options for standard and short body housing. The sensors provide complete protection against electrical damages, including short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection. With a nominal sensing distance of 4mm and an operating distance of 0 to 3.24mm, these sensors are ideal for proximity functions. They feature an NPN output type with a normally open (NO) output function and a switching frequency of 5kHz. The sensors operate within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 200mA. The output voltage drop is ? 1.8V at 200mA, and they have a maximum ripple content of ? 10%. The sensors are designed for unshielded mounting and come with a 2m PVC cable connection. They are capable of withstanding operating temperatures from -25°C to +70°C and are compliant with CE and UR approvals. Additionally, they meet EMC compatibility standards (IEC 60947-5-2) and are resistant to shocks and vibrations (Vibration IEC 60068-2-6 / Shock IEC 60068-2-27). The active head material is made from PBT, and the sensors weigh 35g with dimensions of Ø6.5 / L = 35.5mm. ATEX models, category 3, are available upon request for environments requiring specific safety standards.
