Datasensing AH6/AP-2AAN Sensors

The Datasensing AH6/AP-2AAN Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precise proximity detection. With a compact Ø6.5 mm short case, these sensors are ideal for applications requiring a nominal sensing distance of 2.5 mm and an operating range of 0 to 2.02 mm. The sensors feature a PNP output type with a normally open (NO) output function, ensuring reliable performance with a switching frequency of up to 5kHz. Constructed with durable AISI303 stainless steel housing and a PBT active head, these sensors are built to withstand harsh environments, offering IP67 mechanical protection and compliance with IEC 60947-5-2 for EMC compatibility. The sensors are equipped with a 2m PVC cable for easy installation and connectivity. Designed for safety and reliability, the AH6/AP-2AAN sensors include short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection, along with protection against inductive loads. The sensors operate efficiently within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 200mA. The sensors are approved for use in hazardous environments, meeting CE UR II 3G Ex nA IIC T5 Gc and II 3D Ex tc IIIB T90°C Dc standards. They are capable of operating in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C, with a thermal drift of Sr of less than 10% and repeat accuracy of less than 5%. Additional features include a yellow LED indicator for output state, a time delay before availability of ? 50ms, and a maximum ripple content of ? 10%. The sensors are designed for unshielded mounting and are compatible with standard targets of 8x8mm FE360, with correction factors for various materials such as copper, aluminum, brass, and stainless steel.
