Datasensing AK1/A0-1A86 Sensors

The Datasensing AK1/A0-1A86 Inductive Sensor is designed for precision and reliability in industrial applications. This M18 shielded sensor features a nominal sensing distance of 5mm and operates effectively within a range of 0 to 4.05mm. It is optimized for standard targets of 18x18mm FE360, with correction factors for various materials such as copper (0.40), aluminium (0.48), brass (0.50), and stainless steel (0.86). The sensor boasts a thermal drift of Sr of less than 10% and a repeat accuracy of less than 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. With a hysteresis range of 1 to 20%, it ensures consistent performance. This proximity sensor operates with an NPN/PNP output type and a normally open (NO) output function, supporting a switching frequency of 300Hz. It requires an operating voltage between 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 20mA and a load current range of 3 to 100mA. The sensor's output voltage drop is ? 2.8V at 100mA, and it features a maximum ripple content of ? 10%. Equipped with a yellow LED indicator for output state, it becomes operational within 50ms. Built for durability, the sensor includes short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive load protection. Its shielded mounting and nickel-plated brass housing ensure robust performance, while the 5m PVC cable connection provides flexibility in installation. The active head is made of PBT, and the sensor can withstand a tightening torque of 25Nm. It is CE and UR approved, with EMC compatibility per IEC 60947-5-2 standards, and is resistant to shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27. Supplied with two M18x1 nuts, the sensor measures M18 x 1 with a length of 50mm and operates within a temperature range of -25°C to +70°C, offering IP67 mechanical protection.
