The Datasensing AK1/AN-1H4W Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability. Featuring an M18 shielded housing made from durable AISI303 stainless steel, these sensors are equipped with a NO/NPN output type and an M12 connection for easy integration. With a nominal sensing distance of 5mm and an operating range of 0 to 4.05mm, they are ideal for detecting standard targets of 18x18mm FE360. The sensors offer a correction factor for various materials, including copper (0.40), aluminium (0.48), brass (0.50), and stainless steel (0.86). Engineered for stability, they exhibit a thermal drift of Sr of less than 10% and a repeat accuracy of less than 5% at 24V and 23°C. The hysteresis ranges from 1 to 20%, ensuring consistent performance. With a switching frequency of 600Hz and an operating voltage between 10 to 30Vdc, these sensors are versatile for various applications. They consume a no-load supply current of ? 20mA and support a load current of ? 400mA, with a leakage current of ? 10?A and an output voltage drop of ? 1V at 400mA. Designed with safety in mind, they include short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection, as well as protection against inductive loads. The yellow LED indicator provides a clear output state, and the sensors are ready for use with a time delay of ? 50ms. The robust construction is complemented by an IP67 mechanical protection rating, making them suitable for harsh environments. The sensors are CE and UR approved, with EMC compatibility per IEC 60947-5-2 standards, and are resistant to shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27. Supplied with two M18x1 nuts, they are easy to mount with a tightening torque of 25Nm.
