Datasensing AK1/AN-2A Sensors

The Datasensing AK1/AN-2A Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for a variety of industrial applications. With a nominal sensing distance of 8mm and an operating range of 0 to 6.48mm, these sensors are ideal for precise proximity detection. They feature a standard target size of 24x24mm FE360 and offer correction factors for different materials, including copper (0.45), aluminium (0.53), brass (0.56), and stainless steel (0.77). The sensors exhibit a thermal drift of less than 10% and a repeat accuracy of less than 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. The AK1/AN-2A models are equipped with a yellow LED indicator for output state and provide a switching frequency of 600Hz. They operate on a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 20mA and a load current of ? 400mA. The sensors ensure reliable performance with features like short-circuit protection, reverse polarity protection, impulsive overvoltage protection, and protection against inductive loads. Constructed with a robust nickel-plated brass housing and a PBT active head, these sensors are designed for durability and longevity. They are unshielded and have a mounting dimension of M18 x 1 with a length of 50mm, weighing 130g. The sensors come with a 2m PVC cable for easy connectivity and are supplied with two M18x1 nuts for secure installation. The AK1/AN-2A sensors are CE and UR approved, ensuring compliance with international standards. They offer excellent mechanical protection with an IP67 rating and are resistant to shocks and vibrations as per IEC standards. Suitable for operating temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C, these sensors are perfect for demanding environments.
