The Datasensing AK1/AP-2A Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for a variety of applications. With a nominal sensing distance of 8mm and an operating range of 0 to 6.48mm, these sensors are ideal for precise proximity detection. They feature a standard target size of 24x24mm FE360 and offer correction factors for different materials, including copper, aluminum, brass, and stainless steel. The sensors are equipped with a PNP output type and a normally open (NO) output function, ensuring reliable performance with a switching frequency of 600Hz.
Built to withstand challenging environments, the AK1/AP-2A sensors operate within a temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and are housed in durable nickel-plated brass with an IP67 protection rating. They include essential protective features such as short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive load protection. The sensors are easy to install with a 2m PVC cable connection and come with two M18x1 nuts for secure mounting.
These sensors are compatible with a wide range of models, including standard, long-distance, and ATEX category 3 models available upon request. They also offer models with complementary outputs (NO+NC) and are designed to meet CE and UR approvals, ensuring compliance with international standards.
