The Datasensing AK1/AN-4AAN Sensors are designed for high-performance inductive sensing applications. Featuring an M18 unshielded design, these sensors operate with a nominal sensing distance of 12mm and an operating range of 0 to 9.7mm. They are equipped with a standard target size of 36x36mm FE360 and offer correction factors for various materials, including copper (0.45), aluminium (0.53), brass (0.56), and stainless steel (0.77). The sensors exhibit a thermal drift of Sr less than 10% and a repeat accuracy of less than 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. With a hysteresis range of 1 to 20%, these sensors function as proximity devices with an NPN output type and NO output function, supporting a switching frequency of 300Hz. Operating within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, the sensors have a no-load supply current of ? 20mA and a load current of ? 400mA, with a leakage current of ? 10?A. The output voltage drop is ? 1V at 400mA, and the maximum ripple content is ? 10%. The sensors feature a yellow LED indicator for output state and have a time delay before availability of ? 50ms. They are equipped with short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive load protection. Constructed with a nickel-plated brass housing and PBT active head material, the sensors are designed for unshielded mounting with a tightening torque of 25Nm. They come with a 2m PVC cable connection and are supplied with two M18x1 nuts. The sensors have a mechanical protection rating of IP67 and are approved with CE UR II 3G Ex nA IIC T6 Gc II 3D Ex tc IIIB T85°C Dc certifications. They are compatible with EMC standard IEC 60947-5-2 and are tested for shocks and vibrations according to IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27. With dimensions of M18 x 1 / L = 50mm, these sensors operate efficiently in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C.
