Datasensing AK1/AP-2AAN Sensors

The Datasensing AK1/AP-2AAN Sensors are designed for high-performance proximity detection in industrial environments. Featuring an M18 unshielded design, these inductive sensors offer a nominal sensing distance of 8mm and an operating range of 0 to 6.48mm. They are equipped with a PNP output type and a normally open (NO) output function, ensuring reliable operation with a switching frequency of 600Hz. The sensors are built with a robust nickel-plated brass housing and a PBT active head, providing durability and resistance to harsh conditions. These sensors are certified for use in hazardous areas, with approvals including II 3G Ex nA IIC T6 Gc and II 3D Ex tc IIIB T85°C Dc, making them suitable for environments with explosive gases and dust. They offer comprehensive protection features such as short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and protection against inductive loads. The sensors operate within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 20mA and a load current of ? 400mA. The AK1/AP-2AAN Sensors are equipped with a yellow LED indicator for output state visibility and have a time delay before availability of ? 50ms. With an IP67 mechanical protection rating, these sensors are resistant to dust and water ingress, ensuring reliable performance in challenging conditions.
