Datasensing AK1/AP-2H Sensors

The Datasensing AK1/AP-2H Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for a variety of applications. With a nominal sensing distance of 8mm and an operating distance of 0 to 6.48mm, these sensors are ideal for precise proximity detection. They feature a standard target size of 24x24mm FE360 and offer correction factors for different materials, including copper (0.45), aluminium (0.53), brass (0.56), and stainless steel (0.77). The sensors exhibit a thermal drift of Sr of less than 10% and a repeat accuracy of less than 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. The AK1/AP-2H models are equipped with a PNP output type and a normally open (NO) output function, with a switching frequency of 600Hz. They operate within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 20mA and a load current of ? 400mA. The sensors have a leakage current of ? 10?A and an output voltage drop of ? 1V at 400mA. They are designed with short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive load protection, ensuring reliable performance in demanding environments. Constructed with a nickel-plated brass housing and a PBT active head, these sensors are robust and durable. They are unshielded and have a mounting dimension of M18 x 1 with a length of 64mm, weighing 55g. The sensors are equipped with an M12 plug connection and come with two M18x1 nuts for easy installation. They operate within a temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and are rated with an IP67 degree of protection, making them suitable for harsh conditions. The sensors are CE and UR approved, with EMC compatibility according to IEC 60947-5-2 standards, and are resistant to shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards.
