Datasensing AK1/AP-3A Sensors

The Datasensing AK1/AP-3A Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for a variety of applications. With a nominal sensing distance of 8mm and an operating range of 0 to 6.48mm, these sensors are ideal for precise proximity detection. They feature a standard target size of 24x24mm FE360 and offer correction factors for different materials, including copper (0.40), aluminium (0.45), brass (0.50), and stainless steel (0.75). The sensors exhibit a thermal drift of Sr of less than 10% and a repeat accuracy of less than 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. The AK1/AP-3A models are equipped with a PNP output type and a normally open (NO) output function, supporting a switching frequency of up to 300Hz. They operate within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 20mA and a load current of ? 400mA. The sensors ensure minimal output voltage drop of ? 1V at 400mA and maintain a leakage current of ? 10?A. Designed for durability, these sensors are housed in nickel-plated brass with an active head made of PBT, and they are shielded for protection. They come with a 2m PVC cable for easy connectivity and feature yellow LED indicators for output state. The sensors are equipped with short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive load protection, ensuring reliable performance in demanding environments. With a robust IP67 degree of protection, the AK1/AP-3A sensors are resistant to shocks and vibrations, complying with IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards. They are suitable for operating temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C and come with two M18x1 nuts for secure mounting. These sensors are CE and UR approved, ensuring compliance with international safety and quality standards.
