Datasensing AK1/CP-1A8R Sensors

The Datasensing AK1/CP-1A8R Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability. Featuring an M18 shielded design, these sensors operate with a normally closed (NC) PNP output and come with a 10-meter axial cable for flexible installation. With a nominal sensing distance of 5mm and an operating range of 0 to 4.05mm, they are ideal for detecting standard targets of 18x18mm FE360. The sensors offer a correction factor for various materials, including copper (0.40), aluminium (0.48), brass (0.50), and stainless steel (0.86). Engineered for stability, they exhibit a thermal drift of Sr of less than 10% and a repeat accuracy of less than 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. The hysteresis ranges from 1 to 20%, ensuring consistent performance. With a switching frequency of 600Hz and an operating voltage between 10 to 30Vdc, these sensors are versatile for various applications. They feature a no-load supply current of ? 20mA, a load current of ? 400mA, and a leakage current of ? 10?A, with an output voltage drop of ? 1V at 400mA. The sensors are equipped with a yellow LED indicator for output state, and they ensure safety with short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection. Designed for durability, they are housed in nickel-plated brass with a PBT active head material, offering IP67 mechanical protection. The sensors are CE and UR approved, with EMC compatibility per IEC 60947-5-2 standards, and are resistant to shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27. Supplied with two M18x1 nuts, they are easy to mount and operate within a temperature range of -25°C to +70°C.
