The Datasensing AK1/CP-4A Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability. Featuring an M18 unshielded NC/PNP configuration, these sensors come with a 2-meter axial cable for versatile installation. They offer a nominal sensing distance of 12mm and an operating distance of 0 to 9.7mm, making them suitable for a wide range of applications. The sensors are equipped with a standard target size of 36x36mm FE360 and have a correction factor for various materials, including copper (0.45), aluminum (0.53), brass (0.56), and stainless steel (0.77).
Engineered for durability, the AK1/CP-4A sensors boast a thermal drift of Sr less than 10% and repeat accuracy under 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. They feature a hysteresis range of 1 to 20% and a switching frequency of 300Hz, ensuring quick and accurate responses. With an operating voltage of 10 to 30Vdc, these sensors maintain a no-load supply current of ? 20mA and a load current of ? 400mA, while the leakage current remains ? 10?A. The output voltage drop is minimal at ? 1V @400mA, and the sensors can handle a maximum ripple content of ? 10%.
Designed with user safety in mind, the sensors include short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection, as well as protection against inductive loads. The robust nickel-plated brass housing and PBT active head material ensure long-lasting performance, even in challenging environments. The sensors are IP67 rated for mechanical protection and can operate in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C. They are also CE and UR approved, with EMC compatibility per IEC 60947-5-2 standards.
The AK1/CP-4A sensors come with two M18x1 nuts for easy mounting and feature a yellow LED indicator for output state visibility.
