Datasensing AK6/AN-3A Sensors

The Datasensing AK6/AN-3A Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for a variety of industrial applications. With a nominal sensing distance of 8mm and an operating range of 0 to 6.48mm, these sensors are ideal for precise proximity detection. The standard target size is 24x24mm FE360, and they offer a correction factor for different materials such as copper (0.39), aluminium (0.45), brass (0.51), and stainless steel (0.77). These sensors feature a short case flush mount design with an M18 diameter, making them compact and easy to install. They operate on a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 400mA. The output type is NPN with a normally open (NO) function, and they support a switching frequency of 2.5kHz. Built for durability, the sensors are housed in nickel-plated brass with an active head made of PBT, ensuring robust performance in harsh environments. They are equipped with a yellow LED indicator for output state, and offer comprehensive protection features including short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and protection against inductive loads. The sensors are shielded for mounting, have a tightening torque of 25Nm, and are capable of operating in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C. They are CE and UR approved, EMC compatible with IEC 60947-5-2 standards, and provide mechanical protection with an IP67 rating.
