The Datasensing AK6/BN-3A Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability. Featuring a compact M18 short shielded design, these sensors offer both Normally Open (NO) and Normally Closed (NC) NPN output functions, making them versatile for various applications. With a nominal sensing distance of 8mm and an operating range of 0 to 6.48mm, they are ideal for detecting standard targets of 24x24mm FE360. The sensors are equipped with a 2-meter PVC cable for easy installation and connectivity.
Built to withstand challenging environments, the AK6/BN-3A sensors boast a robust nickel-plated brass housing and an IP67 protection rating, ensuring durability against dust and water ingress. They operate efficiently within a temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and are protected against short circuits, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive loads. The sensors feature a yellow LED indicator for output state visibility and have a high switching frequency of 2.5kHz, ensuring rapid response times.
With a low no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current capacity of ? 400mA, these sensors are energy-efficient while maintaining high performance. The AK6/BN-3A models are compliant with CE and UR approvals and meet EMC compatibility standards as per IEC 60947-5-2.
