Datasensing AK6/BP-3A86 Sensors

The Datasensing AK6/BP-3A86 Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability. Featuring an M18 short shielded design, these sensors offer both Normally Open (NO) and Normally Closed (NC) PNP output functions, making them versatile for various applications. With a nominal sensing distance of 8mm and an operating range of 0 to 6.48mm, they are ideal for detecting standard targets of 24x24mm FE360. The sensors exhibit excellent correction factors for different materials, including copper (0.39), aluminium (0.45), brass (0.51), and stainless steel (0.77). Engineered for stability, they maintain a thermal drift of Sr under 10% and a repeat accuracy of less than 5% at 24V and 23°C. The hysteresis ranges from 1 to 20%, ensuring consistent performance. With a switching frequency of 2.5kHz and an operating voltage between 10 to 30Vdc, these sensors are efficient and responsive. They consume a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and support a load current of up to 400mA, with a minimal output voltage drop of ? 1.5V at 400mA. The sensors are equipped with a yellow LED indicator for output state, and they feature robust protection mechanisms, including short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and protection against inductive loads. Constructed with a nickel-plated brass housing and a PBT active head, they are durable and reliable. The sensors come with a 5m PVC cable for easy installation and are supplied with two M18x1 nuts. They are CE and UR approved, EMC compatible with IEC 60947-5-2 standards, and offer mechanical protection rated at IP67. Suitable for operating temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C, these sensors are built to withstand harsh environments, including vibrations and shocks as per IEC standards.
