Datasensing AM1/A0-1A Sensors

The Datasensing AM1/A0-1A Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for a variety of applications. With a nominal sensing distance of 2mm and an operating range of 0 to 1.62mm, these sensors are ideal for precise proximity detection. They feature a standard target size of 12x12mm FE360 and offer correction factors for different materials, including copper (0.3), aluminium (0.35), brass (0.5), and stainless steel (0.8). The sensors exhibit minimal thermal drift of less than 10% and repeat accuracy of less than 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. The AM1/A0-1A models are equipped with a yellow LED indicator for output state, ensuring easy monitoring. They support both NPN and PNP output types with a normally open (NO) function and a switching frequency of 1.5kHz. Operating within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, these sensors have a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current range of 3 to 100mA. They are designed with robust protection features, including short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and protection against inductive loads. Constructed with a nickel-plated brass housing and a PBT active head, the sensors are shielded and have a mechanical protection rating of IP67, making them suitable for harsh environments. They are compatible with IEC 60947-5-2 EMC standards and can withstand shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27. The sensors come with a 2m PVC cable connection and are supplied with two M12x1 nuts for secure mounting.
