Datasensing AM1/A0-4A Sensors

The Datasensing AM1/A0-4A Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for a variety of applications. With a nominal sensing distance of 8mm and an operating distance of 0 to 6.48mm, these sensors are ideal for precise proximity detection. They feature a standard target size of 24x24mm FE360 and offer correction factors for different materials such as copper (0.51), aluminium (0.56), brass (0.62), and stainless steel (0.78). The sensors exhibit a thermal drift of Sr of less than 10% and a repeat accuracy of less than 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. The AM1/A0-4A models are equipped with NPN/PNP output types and a normally open (NO) output function, with a switching frequency of 750Hz. They operate within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current range of 3 to 100mA. The sensors have a leakage current of ? 0.8mA and an output voltage drop of ? 2.8V at 100mA. They are designed with short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection, as well as protection against inductive loads. Constructed with a nickel-plated brass housing and a PBT active head, these sensors are robust and durable, with an IP67 degree of protection. They are suitable for operating temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C and are resistant to shocks and vibrations as per IEC standards.
