The Datasensing AM1/AN-1A Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for a variety of industrial applications. With a nominal sensing distance of 2mm and an operating range of 0 to 1.62mm, these sensors are ideal for precise proximity detection. They feature a standard target size of 12x12mm FE360 and offer correction factors for different materials, including copper (0.22), aluminium (0.31), brass (0.41), and stainless steel (0.77). The sensors exhibit minimal thermal drift of less than 10% and repeat accuracy of under 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C.
The AM1/AN-1A models are equipped with an NPN output type with a normally open (NO) function, supporting a switching frequency of up to 2kHz. They operate within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 200mA. The output voltage drop is maintained at ? 1.8V at 200mA, ensuring efficient performance.
Designed for durability, these sensors are housed in nickel-plated brass with an active head made of PBT, providing robust protection against environmental factors. They are shielded for mounting and come with a 2m PVC cable for easy installation. The sensors are equipped with yellow LED indicators to display output state and include comprehensive protection features such as short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and protection against inductive loads.
With a compact M12 x 1 design and a length of 49.8mm, the sensors are lightweight at 70g and can withstand operating temperatures from -25°C to +70°C. They are CE and UR approved, ensuring compliance with international standards, and offer IP67 mechanical protection for reliable performance in harsh conditions. The sensors are also compatible with IEC 60947-5-2 for EMC and meet vibration and shock standards IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27, respectively. Supplied with two M12x1 nuts, these sensors are ready for immediate deployment in your industrial setup.
