The Datasensing AM1/AN-1H Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for a variety of industrial applications. These sensors offer a wide range of models, including standard, short body, and long-distance options, ensuring versatility for different operational needs. With output options such as cable, M12, and M8 plug cable exits, these sensors are adaptable to various setups. They are available in models with 2 or 3 wires, and ATEX category 3 models can be requested for environments requiring explosion protection. The sensors feature a nominal sensing distance of 2mm and an operating distance of 0 to 1.62mm, with a standard target size of 12x12mm FE360. They have a correction factor for different materials: copper (0.22), aluminium (0.31), brass (0.41), and stainless steel (0.77). The thermal drift of Sr is less than 10%, and they offer a repeat accuracy of less than 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. The hysteresis ranges from 1 to 20%. Designed for proximity functions, these sensors have an NPN output type with a normally open (NO) output function and a switching frequency of 2kHz. They operate within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 200mA. The leakage current is ? 10?A, and the output voltage drop is ? 1.8V at 200mA. They can handle a maximum ripple content of ? 10% and feature a yellow LED indicator for output state. The sensors are equipped with short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive load protection. They are shielded for mounting, with dimensions of M12 x 1 and a length of 64.8mm. Weighing 30g, they are constructed from nickel-plated brass with a PBT active head material. The tightening torque is 10Nm, and they operate within a temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. The sensors are CE and UR approved, EMC compatible with IEC 60947-5-2, and have been tested for shocks and vibrations according to IEC standards. They offer an IP67 degree of protection and come with two M12x1 nuts for secure installation.
