The Datasensing AM1/AN-2C86 Inductive Sensor is designed for precision and reliability in industrial applications. This M12 unshielded sensor features a NO/NPN output type and is equipped with a 5-meter PVC cable with a 90° output for flexible installation. It offers a nominal sensing distance of 4mm and operates effectively within a range of 0 to 3.2mm. The sensor is compatible with standard targets of 12x12mm FE360 and has a correction factor for various materials: copper (0.41), aluminium (0.47), brass (0.56), and stainless steel (1.15).
Engineered for durability, the sensor is housed in nickel-plated brass with an active head made of PBT, ensuring robust performance in challenging environments. It operates within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 200mA. The sensor features a yellow LED indicator for output state, and it includes essential protections such as short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and protection against inductive loads.
With a switching frequency of 2kHz and a repeat accuracy of < 5%, this sensor is ideal for high-speed applications. It is designed to withstand mechanical shocks and vibrations as per IEC standards and offers an IP67 mechanical protection rating, making it suitable for use in harsh environments.
